uMĚNÍM General Assembly

In November, the uMĚNÍM General Assembly was held at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. Representatives from numerous member and partner organizations across various cultural sectors came together to discuss the platform’s future.

The Board of Directors presented a new organizational strategy, and elections were held for the newly established collective board. Elected members included Barbora Škaloudová (Kunsthalle Praha), Jakub Deml (Kvas), Katarína Kalivodová (SPKV), Jiří Raiterman (DOX), and new members Eva Papánková (Se.S.Ta), Klára Břeňová (Mladí ladí jazz), and Pavla Semeráková (Dětská galerie Lapidárium). For the first time, organizations such as NISA FACTORY and Karlovy Vary Gallery – Becher Villa participated in the meeting.

The afternoon focused on the FUK festival’s programming. Festival dramaturgs Jiří Raiterman and Michal Kučerák presented the 2025 festival vision and opportunities for regional involvement. Jakub Deml shared intermediate results from discussions with regions engaged in the National Recovery Plan-supported project.
