We believe that art has the power to transform education. By integrating creative approaches into learning, we help individuals grow, become more mindful of themselves, their communities, and the world.
As an umbrella platform, we unite organizations that share a vision of making creative learning an integral part of education. Together, we foster innovation, create opportunities for collaboration, and advocate for systemic change in education.
Our platform focuses on:
_ sharing and collaboration in creative education,
_ developing connections between culture and education stakeholders,
_ promoting the benefits of creative learning to the public,
_ advocating for creative education at the policy level.
The platform was established in 2019 and currently includes over 40 organizations and individuals. It organizes the Festival of Art and Creativity in Education (FUK), which since 2021 has connected cultural and educational organizations and individuals. The festival’s aim is to showcase the broad potential of creative learning, specifically supporting creative learning for children and youth, enhancing the skills of educators and professionals, and providing educational activities for teachers and professionals in the cultural and creative sectors on the topic of creative learning for children and youth.
In 2024, we launched the uMĚNÍM Map, an effective tool for schools and parents that helps navigate the wide range of projects offering creative approaches to education across the Czech Republic. For two years, we have also been running a peer-sharing program for platform members.
Our activities in 2024 were carried out through the project Strengthening the Voice of Creative Education, co-financed by the European Union under the National Recovery Plan and the Ministry of Culture (Project Registration Number: 0313000262). The Festival of Art and Creativity in Education was also implemented with the financial support of the European Union under the National Recovery Plan and the Ministry of Culture (Project Registration Number: 0313000263). Current activities are made possible with co-financing from the European Union under the National Recovery Plan and the Ministry of Culture through these projects: Festival of Art and Creativity in Education in Regions (Project Registration Number: 0412000112), Peer Support as a Tool for Building a Nationwide Network of Creative Learning (Project Registration Number: 412000072).
The festival is also supported financially by the City of Prague.
